Colombo, April 23 (newsin.asia): The last date for applying for Indian scholarship schemes has been extended to May 15, 2021, the Indian High Commission said here on Friday.
The scholarships to which this applies are as follows:
1) Nehru Memorial Scholarship Scheme: under this scheme covers all Undergraduate courses (except Medical/Paramedical& Fashion Design course) including Engineering, Science, Business, Economics, Commerce, Humanities and Arts;
2) Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship Scheme: Undergraduate courses in the field of ‘Information Technology’ leading to a B.E or B.Tech Degree,
3) Maulana Azad Scholarship Scheme: Masters Degrees courses (except Medical/Paramedical & Fashion Design course) including Engineering, Science, Economics, Commerce, Humanities and Arts. However, preference would be given to the fields of Engineering, Science and Agriculture,
4) Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme: PhD Degrees in all subjects except Medical/ Paramedical& Fashion Design course, provided by government of India; has been extended to May 15, 2021. The Students who could not apply before the earlier deadline of April 20, 2021 may do so before the fresh deadline.
