Mumbai, Oct 19 (IndiaToday) – Sri Lankan singer Yohani, who became an Instagram sensation with her popular song Manike Mage Hithe, will be making her Bollywood debut with a song in Indra Kumar’s Thank God.
The film stars Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles. Yohani will be singing a Hindi version of Manike Mage Hithe, which will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The lyrics of the Hindi song are penned by Rashmi Virag.

MANIKE MAGE HITHE SINGER YOHANI TO SING HINDI VERSION OF THE SONG
After making an appearance in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 15, Manike Mage Hithe singer Yohani is all set to sing a Hindi version of the song for the Hindi film, Thank God. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh.
The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria. The Hindi version of Manike Mage Hithe will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi, while the lyrics are being penned by Rashmi Virag.
Confirming the same, director Indra Kumar said, “Yohani’s song has become a super sensation and I am extremely thankful to Bhushanji for giving me this blockbuster track to be part of Thank God. We are all very excited for this version and will begin shooting soon for the track.”
Yohani is elated to get the opportunity to sing a Hindi song for a Bollywood film. She said, “I have received tremendous love and support from India and am extremely grateful to Bhushan Kumar, Indra Kumar and the entire team of Thank God for presenting the Hindi version of my track in the film. I am looking forward to visiting India soon.”

Yohani was a special guest on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 15. During her appearance, she made the star sing her popular song, Manike Mage Hithe. Salman hilariously mispronounced some lyrics and said words like “hangover” and “Sridevi”. Yohani had a hearty laugh.
We wonder if the Hindi version of Manike Mage Hithe will also be a hit like the original one. Can’t wait!
