Mumbai, October 15 (India Today) – Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who had deactivated her Twitter and Instagram accounts on Wednesday, is back on the social media platforms. She said that she had deleted the accounts as multiple log in attempts were made to access them by unknown people. While she had deleted her Twitter and Instagram accounts, her Facebook account was active. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Mumbai home four months ago on June 14.
Clarifying why she deleted her Twitter and Instagram accounts, Shweta Singh Kirti wrote, “Sorry, there were multiple log in attempts being made on my social media accounts so had to deactivate them (sic).”
Shweta Singh Kirti’s new post
After returning to Instagram and Twitter, Shweta Singh Kirti posted a quote from the Bhagvad Gita, which read, “In the world, nothing ekse exists that purifies as knowledge can. Such knowledge one with faith can gain, and soon attain to peace supreme. Therefore, the sword of knowledge wield, sever the doubts within your heart. Follow this yoga faithfully. Arise and fight, O Arjuna!”
She shared the quote with the caption, “Stay Strong, Stay Positive, Stay United #GodIsWithUs (sic).”
Shweta’s husband posted on 4 months of Sushant’s death
On four months of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on Wednesday (October 14), Shweta Singh Kirti’s husband, Vishal Kirti, took to social media to write that the family is being targeted. In his note he wrote, “Four months have passed since that horrifying day. My only message today is that when the victim or victim’s family is targeted, it is done to deny them the empathy they need and perhaps make the rest of the world feel that they don’t deserve justice.”
He added, “When a crime is committed it’s extremely important to understand the emotional turmoil the victim’s family goes through. Slow down and think through. Not only does the family need to deal with the day to day aspects of life and the grief of the loss but also cooperate with the investigative agencies and the court system.”
Concluding his note, Vishal Kirti wrote, “The case could go on for a while, people will move on but the family won’t. If you think this is a desirable situation to be in for the family, think again. Revictimizing the victim only hurts the judicial machinery of a country and makes the quest for justice difficult for everyone.”
Family blames Rhea Chakraborty for Sushant’s death
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father had filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and others at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station. He accused Rhea of abetment to suicide and said that she siphoned of Rs 15 crore from the late actor’s bank account. However, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), who is investigating the money-laundering angle in the case has not yet found any proof of that.
Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for allegedly procuring drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. Her brother, Showik Chakraborty, and Sushant’s house manager, Samuel Miranda, have also been arrested. Recently, Rhea was granted bail by the Bombay High Court. She spent 28 days at Mumbai’s Byculla jail.
