Colombo, March 28 (newsin.asia) – Sri Lanka’s Health Ministry, on Saturday confirmed its first COVID 19 death after a 60-year-old man passed away from the virus.
The deceased was from Marawila and passed away a short while ago.
Doctors said he had several other medical complications ranging from a kidney transplant several years ago, diabetes to high blood pressure.

The number of confirmed cases in the country has reached 113 and while 9 people have recovered from COVID-19.
