Colombo, May 20 (newsin.asia) – The number of coronavirus positive patients detected in Sri Lanka crossed the 150,000 mark yesterday (19) as another 3,623 new Covid-19 cases had been detected.
3,591 of these cases were from the New Year cluster while 32 cases were those who returned from overseas.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 151,343 with 27,925 active cases registered across the island and as many as 122,367 recoveries according to the Department of Government Information.

If anyone above the age of 55 is experiencing difficulty in breathing or any COVID related symptom such individuals must immediately seek medical attention, said Army Commander General Shavendra Silva on Wednesday (19).
