March 8 (AdaDerana) – The prices of wheat flour sold by Serendib Flour Mills and Prima Flour Mills will be reduced with effect from midnight today (08 March).
Accordingly, the companies confirmed that the price of wheat flour will reduce by Rs. 15 per kilogram, effective from today.

The reduce in the prices of wheat flour has reportedly been attributed to the recent appreciation of the Sri Lankan Rupee against the US Dollar.
The Bakery Owners’ Association has decided to reduce the price of a loaf of bread weighing 450 grams.
Thereby, the price of a 450g loaf of bread will be slashed by Rs. 10 with effect from today (March 08).
