Colombo, April 27: Bernard Goonetilleke, Chairman Pathfinder Foundation, accompanied by Executive Director Dr. Dayaratne Silva and Director Ahmed A. Jawad, presented the Pathfinder Foundation publication ‘A Medium and Long-term Strategy for Indo-Japanese Collaboration to Support Economic Transformation in Sri Lanka’ to President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat.
The Report advocates trilateral cooperation covering subjects such as Low-carbon power generation, including grid connectivity with India, Development of Trincomalee as an energy hub, Logistics and connectivity aimed at the development of ports, airports, railways and ferry transportation, and People to people contacts covering tourism, training, education and skills development will be crucially important for Sri Lanka’s developmental process, in the medium and long-terms.
