August 12 (NewsWire) – Measures have been taken to issue revenue licenses for vehicles in the Western Province on all working days of the week.
The Chief Secretary of the Western Province said the decision has been taken as the fuel shortage is being addressed to a certain extent.

Thereby, attention has been directed to ensuring a continuous service, the Chief Secretary said.
Services can be obtained from the main office of the Motor Traffic Department or any Divisional Secretariat during working days, while the revenue license can also be obtained by visiting www.motortraffic.wp.gov.lk.
Meanwhile, no fines will be imposed on motorists with expired revenue licenses after the 29th of July.
According to the Chief Secretary of the Western Province, the fines will not be imposed until the 31st of August 2022.
