Gambhir received the email on Saturday, November 28, at 1:37 pm. It was sent from the email address ‘[email protected]’ this time.
Last week, the cricketer-turned-politician had lodged a police complaint alleging he had received death threats from a person(s) or organisation claiming to be ‘ISIS Kashmir’. The death threats were sent over email from the address ‘[email protected]’.
Following Gambhir’s complaint, security was beefed up outside his residence in Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar.

The Delhi Police had approached Google, seeking information about the account handlers and the registered ID through which the alleged e-mails were sent. According to the information by Google, the mail was sent from Pakistan, the source said.
