Colombo, November 14 (newsin.asia) – The number of coronavirus patients detected in Sri Lanka crossed the 16,000 mark yesterday (13) as another 468 new cases had been detected within the day (13).
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 16,191 with 5,107 active cases across the island according to the Health Promotion Bureau. 11,031 cases have recovered so far.
Five more Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the country bringing the total count to 53 according to the Department of Government Information.
