Colombo, May 18 (newsin.asia) – Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended 0.29 percent higher amid lackluster turnover levels on Friday.
The All Share Price Index ended 6,492.06, up by 18.88 points.
John Keels Holdings PLC, Sampath Bank PLC and Hatton National Bank PLC led market activity including crossings with trading in John Keels Holdings PLC amounting to 52 percent of total turnover.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs.433 million (an estimated 2.7 million US dollars) while active foreign participation resulted in a net outflow of Rs.51 million (an estimated 323,000 US dollars).
