For water bill payments, the National Water Supply and Dranage Board (NWSDB) has implemented an environmentally friendly e-billing system.
To receive confirmation, they asked customers to text their water bill account numbers and email addresses to 071-9399999.
They stated that customers must accept the email in order to validate their account number and email address.

Consumers can use this online payment site to pay their outstanding water bills, costs for new connections, and many additional services like as reconnections, meter moving, and so on, according to the NWSDB. (Samarawickrama Chaturanga)
