Colombo, Oct 1 (News1st) – The Ministry of Health has released the health guidelines to be effective after the curfew is lifted from 04:00 a.m. today (01).
People are only permitted to leave their residence for employment, medical requirements or to purchase essential goods.

From the 1st to the 15th of October, only 25 people can attend meetings, conferences, and workshops while from 16th to 31st October, that number can increase to a maximum of 50 people, which should be 25% of the permitted capacity.
Festivities, Parties, Gatherings are not permitted.
From the 1st to the 15th of October no dine-in is allowed at restaurants, however, from the 16th to 31st October only 30% of the capacity or 50 customers can be accommodated.
Salons and Beauty Parlors are only allowed to operate on a per appointment basis.
Daycare centers can remain open, while Pre-Schools can operate with 50% of the student capacity.
Cinemas will remain closed and only five people are allowed to be present inside a gymnasium at any given time from 1st to 15th October, and from the 16th to 31st October that number can increase to 10 people.
Sports activities are not allowed from 1st to 15th October while walking paths can remain open.
Weddings can only take place with 10 people for the registration from 1st to 15th October, and from 16th to 31st October, that number can be limited to 50 people subject to 25% of the capacity.
