Colombo, Jan 4 (newsin.asia) – India leads the tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka with 56,266 arrivals, followed by Russia with 16,894, and the United Kingdom with 16,646.
Sri Lanka’s attempts to revive the tourism industry have seen improvements with the highest number of tourist arrivals for last year being reported in December 2021.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) has issued a notice to tourists who are who are expecting to travel to Sri Lanka.
In the notice issued SLTDA has urged potential travelers to Sri Lanka to beware of fake sites available online claiming to be travel and immigration agencies issuing Sri Lankan Visas.
