Colombo, April 18 (newsin.asia) – Sri Lankan president Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Saturday (18) announced that an ongoing curfew which was imposed across the country since March 20 would be relaxed in 19 districts from April 20 from 5 am to 8 pm daily.
In 5 districts which include Colombo, Puttalam, Kandy, Kalutara and Gampaha which has been declared high-risk zones the curfew will be lifted in some areas on April 22 from 5 am to 8 pm daily.
However in these districts, the curfew will not be lifted in Kotahena, Grandpass, Bambalapitiya, Keselwatte, Maradana, Gothatuwa, Mulleriyawa, Wellampitiya, Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, Kohuwala, Ja-ela, Kochhikade, Seeduwa, Puttalam, Marawila, Wennappuwa, Bandaragama, Payagala, Beruwala and Aluthgama.
