Colombo, Dec 23 (NIA) – Sri Lankan Police on Friday discovered a 15 foot metal object believed to part of an aircraft in the eastern seas of Batticaloa, the police said.
The metal object had been washed ashore in Kaludavali, Kalavanchikudi in Batticaloa on Friday morning.
The object has been handed over to the Sri Lanka Airforce for further investigations.
