What is Slash?
Slash is Sri Lanka’s first buy one get one free experience entertainment app. We source buy one get one coupons from lifestyle vendors around Sri Lanka, all of which are available in our app.
We have three plans users can pick from. Each plan is tailored to different interests, so users have the freedom to choose what best suits them. And of course, we’re big on savings.
Long story short, Slash is a coupons app that lets you experience more while also saving more.
Why did you make Slash?
Fresh out of a long lockdown, we could all use the chance to get back to what we enjoy doing. That can be tucking into a meal from our favorite restaurants, sweating it out at the gym, kicking back at a resort, or a thousand other things. But there’s a catch. Money is tight. We made Slash because we wanted money to no longer be a barrier to having a good time.
How does Slash work?
We designed the Slash app with convenience front and center.
Users download the app, register, pick the plan that best matches what they enjoy doing, and they’re done.
From there, users can browse coupons and offers. To redeem a coupon, users simply visit the location and inform staff that they have a Slash coupon. The coupon gets redeemed, and just like that, you’re saving money.
What can we expect from Slash in the future?
Our team is working on partnering with more and more vendors. The end goal is that we want every single lifestyle and experience brand in Sri Lanka to have a presence in the Slash app. When people go out, we want the first question they ask a vendor to be, “are you on Slash?” And at the rate we’re going, we’re definitely going to get there.
