Karachi, December 5 (Dawn): The first song from Shaan Shahid’s upcoming film Arth – the Destinationis out and the ballad is quite beautiful.
Sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, ‘Sanwar De Khudaya’ is a song which speaks about heartbreak and losing your loved one.
Featuring Shaan Shahid, Humaima Malick, Mohib Mirza and Uzma Hassan, the video shows the four stars in dismay and utter torment as heartbreak takes over.
Sahir Ali Bagga as its music composer weaves the emotional lyrics into a melody that’ll make you sway, with its high notes capturing the yearning you feel when you fall out of love.
Apart from the lyrics and the music, the song also gives an insight into the film by enacting the heartbreaking and climactic moments from the film. The emotion and drama in the song are a (small) reflection of what a roller coaster this one is going to be.
Arth 2 is Shaan’s attempt at remaking the 1982 Mahesh Bhatt classic Arth. It stars Shaan — who is also directing the film — Mohib Mirza, Humaima Malik and Uzma Hassan as leads.
The film is expected to release worldwide in cinemas on December 21 this year.
