Colombo, March 28 (newsin.asia): The Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka Janbaz Khan on Tuesday felicitated the visiting Pakistani Women’s Cricket team.
The team is currently in Sri Lanka to play the qualifier round of the ICC Women’s Championship against Sri Lanka.
There were three one day internationals. Apart from the ODIs, the teams will play a bilateral series of three T20 matches.
The Pakistani team has won all ODIs played at Dambulla while T20 series will be played at Colombo with the first match taking place at the SSC on March 28.. The second match will be at the NCC on March 30, and the final game will be played at the SSC on March 31.
Welcoming the team at the Pakistan High Commission premises here Acting High Commissioner, Janbaz Khan congratulated the players on their splendid performance in the ODI series. He expressed the hope that the players will do well in the games ahead and bring laurels for the country.
the Pakistan women cricket team members expressed appreciation for the cricketing fraternity in Sri Lanka and cricket lovers in the island.
