Colombo, August 9 (newsin.asia): The Prime Minster of Pakistan Imran Khan has strongly condemned the attack on Ganesh Mandir, a Hindu temple, in Bhung, Rahimyar Khan, Pakistan. He has directed the Inspector General of the province to ensure the arrest of all culprits and to take strict action against anyone trying to sabotage public peace or to violate minority rights. He has already ordered to restore the Mandir also.
Pakistan is a peace-loving country and Pakistanis are a friendly and peaceful nation, the Pakistani High Commissioner Maj. Gen (Retd) Muhammad Saad Khattak said here on Monday.
“This unfortunate recent incident is a highly condemnable action of a few misled individuals and does not represent the whole nation at all. They were a bunch of disgruntled people playing in the hands of anti-Pakistan elements. The enemies of Pakistan are also enemies of peace and harmony and by perpetrating such heinous acts they only prove their illogical and fanatic approach with the malafide intentions of maligning the good image of Pakistan abroad while playing into the hands of foreign anti Pakistan elements,” Maj.Gen.Khattak said.
“The Pakistan Government and people have always stood by the minorities and safeguarded their rights in all aspects. We will keep on doing so, no matter what anyone says or how much ever tries to malign our national image,” he added.
