Colombo, April 8 (newsin.asia) – The Police have arrested the reigning Mrs World Caroline Jurie and former model Chula Padmendra a short while ago over the incident which took place at the Mrs Sri Lanka pageant on Sunday evening.
Cinnamon Gardens Police confirmed both were arrested after they appeared at the Police Station to record statements.
Caroline Jurie uncrowned the winner, Pushpika De Silva on stage and crowned the first runner up instead claiming that Pushpika was a divorcee and hence was ineligible for the crown at the Mrs. Sri Lanka pageant in Colombo on Sunday (4) night.
