Colombo, Oct 12 (NIA) – International contestants participating in the ‘Miss Intercontinental’ pageant began to arrive in Sri Lanka last week to take part in event scheduled to be held in the country on Oct 16.
The pageant will be held at the Stein Studios in Ratmalana.
Contestant from Denmark, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Guadeloupe, Monaco, Belarus, Bangladesh, Malta, France and El Salvador arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport and were welcomed at the Silk Route Lounge of the Airport Aviation Services.

This week, contestants will continue to arrive in the country and soon after begin to tour the island with Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts as they head towards the grand finale.
