Male, November 10: Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced an ambitious vision to spur equitable economic growth across the Maldives by establishing Integrated Development Zones in the northern and southern regions and developing seven additional regions as urban centers.
His strategic plan aims to decentralize development, enhance local economies, and improve the quality of life across the island nation.
In his recent address, Dr. Muizzu outlined how this bold initiative aligns with his administration’s long-term goals of reducing disparities among the atolls and encouraging sustainable growth beyond the capital, Male’.
