June 8 (Al Jazeera) – Multiple websites operated by news outlets including the Financial Times, the New York Times and Bloomberg News were down across the globe on Tuesday.
CNN and France’s Le Monde also started showing error messages that appeared on the websites at around 10:00 GMT.
Separately, Amazon.com Inc’s retail website also seemed to face an outage. Amazon was not immediately available to comment.

Britain’s Guardian newspaper said its website and app were being affected. Sites of some other British news media were also not immediately loading.
The issue affecting the sites was not immediately clear.
The Guardian also confirmed that their site had been affected, as they reassured subscribers they would be live “as soon as possible”.
They wrote: “The Guardian’s website and app are currently being affected by a wider internet outage and will be back as soon as possible.”
The UK Government’s site is also currently unavailable for residents across Scotland and the rest of the country amid the mass outages.
