Colombo, March 17 (newsin.asia): The Sri Lankan government on Monday declared March 17, 18 and 19 as holidays in order to help control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
However, this does not apply to food supply stores, banks and other essential services. Schools and other educational institutions will remain shut. Big gatherings will not be allowed. Cinemas and other entertainment centers will remain closed. Churches and mosques will not have their regular services till the end of March
