Colombo, April 25 (newsin.asia): The All Party Conference which was held here under the chairmanship of President Maithripala Sirisena was told that a Security Operation Center is to be set up to coordinate security related actions.
The action follows the non-use of actionable intelligence ahead of Easter Sunday’s multiple suicide bombings by terrorists in Colombo, Negombo and Batticaloa in which 359 people perished. Intelligence was available on April 5 and 11 even hours before the blasts in three leading hotels and three churches.
