Jaffna, October 2 (newsin.asia): The Consulate General of India in Jaffna celebrated the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Saturday (2nd October). The celebrations were held following the COVID-19 guidelines.
Consul General Raakesh Natraj Jayabhaskaran garlanded and paid floral tributes at the Gandhi statue at Cargills Square, Jaffna. The Northern Provincial Council Chairman C V K Sivagnanam, Jaffna Mayor V. Manivannan, Jaffna Municipal Commissioner and All Ceylon Gandhi Seva Sangam Assistant Secretary Ms.Shivaramya garlanded the Gandhi statue.
