Colombo, March 30 (NewsWire) – A record increase in the price of gold has been reported in Sri Lanka today (30).
According to gold dealers, the price of a 24-carat gold coin has increased to Rs. 200,000.

They said the price of a 22-carat gold coin has increased to Rs. 185,000.
The gold dealers have revealed that alongside the increase in gold prices, a shortage of gold has also been reported in the local market.
