June 25 (NewsWire) – Container ship MSC MESSINA reportedly suffered fire in engine room in Indian ocean halfway between Sri Lanka and Malacca Strait, at around 1930 UTC Jun 24, Maritime Bulletin reported.
“Another container ship MSC MESSINA reported a fire in the engine room in the Indian ocean halfway between Sri Lanka and Malacca Strait. The ship is en route from Sri Lanka to Singapore” Sri Lanka Navy confirmed.
