Colombo, September 15 (newsin.asia) – Sri Lanka reported its 13th death yesterday (14) from the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Government Information Department.
The number of COVID-19 cases reported in the island rose to 3,262 yesterday (14) while the total number of COVID-19 recoveries stands at 3,005.
According to the Health Promotion Bureau, 217 COVID-19 patients are still receiving treatment, while 56 suspected COVID-19 patients are under observation.
The positive cases identified lately were returnees that arrived from the United Arab Emirates, India, Bangladesh Bahrain, Vietnam, Qatar and Kuwait.
A total of 41,113 persons have completed the quarantine process, while another 6,142 persons are still at 60 tri-service-managed quarantine centres.
