Colombo, August 17 (newsin.asia) – Covid-19 deaths and cases update in Sri Lanka.
The number of coronavirus positive patients detected in Sri Lanka crossed the 668,000 mark as another 195 new Covid-19 cases were detected across the country yesterday (16).

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 668,336 across the island and as many as 650,166 recoveries according to the Government Information Department
Sri Lanka also registered 6 more Covid-19 related deaths yesterday, the Director-General of Health Services confirmed. The victims have succumbed to the virus infection on Sunday (15).
The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 16,621 as of now.
