October 12 (IndiaToday) – Saanvi M Prajit, a 10-year-old girl from Kerala, has set a new record after she made over 30 food items in less than one hour. Ernakulam-based Saanvi prepared dishes including uttapam, fried rice and chicken roast within such a short span of time, news agency PTI reports. She has been recognised by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records, her family said.
Who is Saanvi M Prajit?
Saanvi is the daughter of Wing Commander of Indian Air Force Prajit Babu and Manjima. Within an hour, Saanvi cooked 33 items such as idli, waffles, mushroom tikka, papdi chaat, pancakes, paneer tikka, egg bulls eye and sandwiches. Her family told PTI that her records, created on August 29, have been established for the maximum number of dishes prepared by a child.
“The Asia Book of Records authorities watched online the cookery event organised at her Visakhapatnam residence. Besides, two gazetted officers were witness to the cooking of 33 items in an hour by Saanvi,” Saanvi’s mother Manjima told PTI.
Who inspired Saanvi?
Inspired by her mother, Saanvi said that she was able to achieve the feat. Manjima is a star chef and cookery reality show finalist. Saanvi took interest in cooking from a very early age, Manjima said. She has also participated in Children’s Cookery shows and has won recognition for her effort in the culinary field.
