The Bengali song “Nishi Raat Banka Chand” is sung by the Bangladeshi singer Ferdous Ara and was composed by Nachiketa Ghosh. It was originally sung by the famous Indian singer Geeta Dutt. Here are both the versions:
Ara teaches Nazrul songs at the Nazrul Institute at Dhaka University and the Dhaka Music College. She founded a music school, Sur Saptak in 2000.
