Colombo, March 7 (newsin.asia): To mark International Women’s Day on March 8, an all women crew would fly an Air India passenger aircraft on the Chennai-Colombo-New Delhi route.,
The passenger aircraft will be piloted by Capt V Roopa and Capt Nimisha Goel, the Indian High Commission said on Wednesday.
The flights are part of the commemoration of International Women’s Day by Air India’s Colombo, which itself, is staffed by women at the top level.
Mrs Alice Joe Paul, is the Country Manager, and Mrs Madhumita Gupta is the Airport Manager. Mrs Thanuja Lankathilaka, is General Manager of Indusky Aviation, the Passenger GSA for Air India at Sri Lanka.
