Dubai, Oct 18 (newsin.asis) – Ireland fast bowler Curtis Campher etched his name in the history books on Monday when he picked four wickets in four balls against the Netherlands in their T20 World Cup opener in Abu Dhabi.
Right-arm pacer Curtis Campher, bowling the 10th over, dismissed Colin Ackermann (11), Ryan ten Doeschate (0), Scott Edwards (0) and Roelof van der Merwe (0) in successive deliveries to become the third bowler to pick four wickets in four balls in T20 internationals after Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga and Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan.
Rashid Khan (vs IRE, 2019) and Lasith Malinga (vs NZ, 2019) are the other two bowlers to take four wickets in as many balls.
