The man said he had parked his motorcycle outside the Police station leaving a bag on the vehicle in which he had left his wallet.
Upon returning from the Police station, he had seen one monkey among a group of monkeys taking the wallet from the bag and climbing up a tree, after which it had moved from tree to tree and away.
The man revealed that he had Rs. 2000, his drivers’ licence, National Identity Card (NIC), Bank cards and several other important items in his now lost wallet.
As the man’s wallet was not found anywhere nearby, he has filed a complaint with the Police on his lost items.
