Dubai, Nov 11 (newsin.asia) – A stunning finish saw Australia beat Pakistan and reach the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
After winning the toss, Australia decided to ball first. Sent in to bat, Mohammad Rizwan (67) and Fakhar Zaman (55) helped Pakistan post a competitive 176 for 4 against Australia in Dubai.
For Australia, Mitchell Starc (2/38), Pat Cummins (1/30) and Adam Zampa (1/22) were the wicket-takers.

Australia started off well scoring 52/1 during the powerplay led by an assault from David Warner (49).
Warner’s departure slowed the runs down but Australia did not lose their momentum as they raced to victory thanks to a thundering cameo from Mathew Wade (41* off 17) and 40* from Marcus Stoinis ensured a clinical victory with 6 balls to spare.

Shadab Khan (4/26) and Shaheen Afridi (1/35) were the most successful bowlers for Pakistan.
Mathew Wade was named the Man of the Match for his match-winning 41* from 17 balls (2×4 & 4×6).
Australia will face New Zealand in the T20 World Cup Final on Sunday, November 14.
