March 9 (newsin.asia) – Sri Lanka Health Director General Anil Jasinghe said “Sri Lankans returning from abroad are required to self-quarantine at homes for 2 weeks.”
Those arriving to Sri Lanka from Italy, South Korea & Iran will be taken to quarantine centers while others have been requested to self-quarantine at homes for 2 weeks.
Sri Lankans are also urged to limit foreign travel during this period.

As of this morning, Sri Lanka has no confirmed Corona Virus patients according to Sri Lanka health authorities.
16 patients including 2 foreigners are currently under observation in 6 hospitals around the country.
