Colombo, May 19 (newsin.asia) – All passenger arrivals will be prohibited in Sri Lanka from the 21st to the 31st of May.
Flight arrivals will be suspended from 11.59 pm on 21st May to 11.59 pm on 31st May the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) said
Chairman of the CAASL Upul Dharmadasa said the decision has been taken in view of the existing coronavirus situation in Sri Lanka.
Although, passengers will be permitted to leave Sri Lanka during this period he added.
Previously, a decision had also been taken to impose an island-wide travel restriction again from 11 pm on Friday (21) to Tuesday (25) till 4 am continuously, Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said.
Then, travel restrictions will be imposed again from 11 pm on May 25 to 4 am on May 28, he said.
