Colombo, August 13 (NewsWire) – No decision has been taken to impose an islandwide lockdown, State Minister Professor Channa Jayasumana announced today.
Stating that the country will not go for a lockdown, the State Minister said that, however, travel restrictions could be further tightened.
He added that Army Commander General Shavendra Silva will make a statement in this regard shortly.
