March 8 (Kyiv) – In a post on Instagram, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared his location and said he is not hiding and not scared of anyone.
“I stay in Kyiv on Bankova Street. I’m not hiding. And I’m not afraid of anyone,” he wrote.

President Zelenskyy added, “Whatever it takes to win this patriotic war of ours.”
The Ukrainian leader has reportedly survived three attempts on his life by Russian assassins since Russian President Putin declared war on February 24.
Sitting at his desk, flanked by the Ukrainian flag, President Zelenskyy said in the video, “Today is the twelfth evening of our struggle. We are all on the ground. We are all working. I am in Kyiv, my team is with me.”

He thanked the Ukrainian armed forces for their service during the war against Russia and reiterated his belief that Ukraine would come out victorious.
RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR
Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24. Russia’s military has launched hundreds of missile and artillery attacks on cities and other sites across the country.
At least 331 civilians have been confirmed killed since the fighting began, but the true number is probably much higher, the UN human rights office said. Meanwhile, more than 1.5 million people have fled Ukraine, triggering a massive refugee crisis.

While Putin has claimed the ‘military operation’ is aimed at defending Ukraine’s Russian-speaking communities against persecution and preventing the United States from using Ukraine to threaten Russia, the West has called his justification a baseless pretext for war”.
The US-led Nato has provided arms to Ukraine and imposed economic sanctions on Russia over the last ten days in a bid to get Moscow to halt its offensive.
