Feb 28 (CNN) – Elon Musk has regained his title as the richest person in the world, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index. Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, took the top spot from Musk in December 2022, but a rally in Tesla stock has lifted Musk back to the number one position.
As of Monday, Musk’s net worth was $187.1 billion, just topping Arnault’s fortune of $185.3 billion.
Despite a decline in Tesla stock in 2022, shares have surged in 2023.

However, Musk also holds the record for the biggest fortune ever lost by anyone in history, losing $200 billion in wealth from November 2021 to December 2022.
