June 16 (India Today) – Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has been admitted to a hospital in the national capital after he developed Covid-like symptoms and complained of difficulty in breathing.
Delhi minister Satyendar Jain was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital on Monday night after he showed novel coronavirus symptoms.
Taking to Twitter, Satyendar Jain wrote, “Due to high grade fever and a sudden drop of my oxygen levels last night I have been admitted to RGSSH. Will keep everyone updated.”
Satyendar Jain’s test for the novel coronavirus has already been done after he was admitted to the hospital.
The test results are awaited. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain continues to be on oxygen support.

Delhi Heath Minister Satyendar Jain had on Sunday attended a meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan, Delhi L-G Anil Baijal, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Delhi Chief Secretary and Home Secretary were also present in the meeting.
Last week, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had taken the test for the novel coronavirus after he developed a sore throat and fever. The AAP chief had tested negative for Covid-19.
