Colombo, Oct 13 (newsin.asia) – The Education Ministry says the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to students from schools in the Colombo District from the 15th of October.
Accordingly, the students who are sitting Advanced Level examination for the first time and second time this year will vaccinated within all educational zones in the district.

Education Secretary Professor Kapila Perera further stated that on the 21st of October, the vaccine will be administered to students in all other districts.
Additional Secretary to the Education Ministry L.M.D. Dharmasena told the media that students can obtain their vaccine doses by providing their National Identity Cards (NIC).
Following are the vaccination centres for GCE Advanced Level students in Colombo:
- Zonal Education Office Homagama
- Zonal Education Office Colombo
- Zonal Education Office Sri Jayawardenenpura
- Zonal Education Office Piliyandala
