Colombo, March 2 (NewsWire) – The Government Information Centre has introduced a new system through which the public can verify their COVID-19 vaccination status.
The public can send an SMS to the Government Information Centre via 1919 to verify their vaccination status.

The system is considered a convenient alternative to the current COVID-19 vaccination card.
Following is the format to verify one’s Covid vaccination status:
VAC<space>NIC Number & send to 1919.
