Colombo, August 11 (NewsWire) – A Cabinet reshuffle is reportedly imminent, with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa likely to make changes to key Ministries, including Foreign Affairs and Health, the Daily FT Newspaper reported.
The Ministries of Education, Tourism, Power, and Media are also expected to undergo changes.

According to the Daily FT Newspaper, Education Minister G.L. Peiris is slated to be the new Foreign Minister, while Dinesh Gunawardena, who currently holds the post, is to take over the Ministry of Higher Education.
Minister of Plantation Industries Ramesh Pathirana is tipped to be the new Health Minister, while his current portfolio is to be handed over to Keheliya Rambukwella.
Minister Rambukwella’s Media Ministry is slated to be provided to Dullas Alahapperuma, who is the Minister of Power.
The Power Ministry is to go to current Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, while Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga is set to be the new Education Minister.
The reshuffle which was speculated to take place yesterday (10), is now expected to take place today or over the next few days, the Daily FT Newspaper added.
