IPL 2008- Shaun Marsh (Punjab Kings)
In a fantastic trendsetting performance in the inaugural edition of the IPL, Australia’s Shaun Marsh scored a massive 616 runs averaging an enormous 68.44 with an impressive strike rate of almost 140 for the Punjab Kings.

IPL 2009 – Matthew Hayden (Chennai Super Kings)

Sunrisers Hyderabad, who had lost the final in 2018, reached the playoffs in 2019 backed by the efforts of David Warner and his opening partner Jonny Bairstow.
