Colombo, September 28 (newsin.asia) – Film director and actor Tennison Cooray has passed away at the age of 68 years.
He was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo.
He was an actor in Sri Lankan cinema and stage drama. One of Sri Lanka’s best-known comedians. Cooray was best known for comedy roles in films such as Re Daniel Dawal Migel franchise, Cheriyo franchise, Peralikarayo, Somy Boys and Wada Bari Tarzan franchise. In addition to acting, he has also worked as a director and scriptwriter, singer, lyrics writer.
