Colombo, May 1 (newsin.asia) – Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended 0.04 percent higher amid subdued turnover levels after a long holiday on Tuesday.
The All Share Price Index ended 6,533.94, up by 2.88 points.
RIL Property PLC, Sampath Bank PLC and Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC led market activity including crossings.
Trading in RIL Property PLC amounted to 56 percent of total market turnover.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs.517 million (an estimated 3.2 million US dollars) while active foreign participation resulted in a net inflow of Rs. 288 million (an estimated 1.8 million US dollars).
