Colombo, May 3 (newsin.asia) – Shares at the Colombo Stock Exchange ended 0.08 percent higher amid lackluster turnover levels on Thursday.
The All Share Price Index ended 6,523.88, up by 5.24 points.
Sampath Bank PLC, John Keels Holdings PLC and Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC led market activity including a crossing seen in John Keels Holdings PLC.

Trading in John Keels Holdings accounted for 19 percent of total turnover.
Total market turnover amounted to Rs.463 million (an estimated 2.9 million US dollars) while active foreign participation resulted in a net inflow of Rs. 46 million (an estimated 291,000 US dollars).
